Fungal Nail Infections

What are Fungal Nail Infections?

Fungal nail infection is a skin condition that starts with a small or yellow spot under the fingernail or toenail. If the infection becomes worse you may experience your nail becoming thicker and more discolored. Nail fungus can grow back even if it is successfully treated the first time. Nail fungus can be caused by several reason including Athlete’s Foot, poor circulation, excessive sweating, walking barefoot in damp areas, psoriasis and a weaken immune system. There are a wide variety of options in treating nail infections. A visit with our clinical staff will suggest the proper treatment.
