Raymond Kleinfelder, DO, is a compassionate and experienced dermatologist specializing in skin cancer treatment at LUX Dermatology in Santa Barbara, California.
Dr. Kleinfelder is a native of Buffalo, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College, where he majored in biology with a minor in sociology.
After graduation, he attended medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. While in medical school, he was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi, the prestigious osteopathic medicine fraternity for med students. He was named as “Guardian of the Profession” from the American Osteopathic Association and was awarded an honorary grant from the American Osteopathic Foundation.
Prior to becoming a resident, he served as a sub-investigator for over a dozen clinical trials at the Center for Clinical and Cosmetic Research™ in Aventura, Florida. He then completed his dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital’s Palm Springs Campus in Miami, Florida, where he served as chief resident.
Following his specialty training, he pursued a medical internship at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Dr. Kleinfelder practices cosmetic, surgical, and medical dermatology on patients of all ages and skin types. He has a special interest in severe psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (eczema), but provides comprehensive treatment for all skin conditions.
