Dr. William Kivett

Lux Dermatology is proud to introduce Dr. William Kivett, a distinguished dermatologist specializing in Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dermatology. Driven by a mission to provide excellent patient experiences, compassionate bedside manner, and gratifying relationships with colleagues and staff, Dr. Kivett offers warm and professional care to patients in Stockton and Manteca, California.
With an impressive 49-year career, Dr. Kivett is board certified in multiple specialties and has gained extensive expertise in various areas, including skin cancer and Mohs surgery, wound reconstruction, hand, wrist, and arm surgery, as well as correction of birth defects.
His education includes graduating with Honors from Stanford University and receiving diverse training and teaching experiences both in the United States and abroad.
Dr. Kivett's commitment to international plastic surgery cases is exemplified by his founding of the first Mohs surgery unit in Saudi Arabia and his involvement with Interface, Inc., a charitable organization dedicated to providing plastic surgery services to pediatric patients in need.
As an esteemed member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Society for Mohs Surgery, and the Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Kivett stands at the forefront of advancements in his field. He has authored numerous publications, delivered over 100 lectures, and received multiple awards for his contributions to patient education.
